'Warcraft' To Feature Level 30 MountsPosted by Stephen Johnson - Thursday, June 19, 2008 10:53 AMIn news that will rock the respective worlds of all low-level World of Warcraft players, Blizzard's patch notes for the next Warcraft patch will bring level 30 mounts! No longer will you have to wait until your elf is level 40 to ride a fake horse! "Apprentice Riding and mounts are now available at level 30. Training costs 35 gold," Blizzard posts.
No word on why the change was made, or whether the level 30 mounts will look/behave differently than level 40 mounts. Difficulty/frustration nerf, perhaps?
The rest of the patch notes, we have to say, are not life-changing. Samples:
* Haris Pilton has launched a new line of bags and jewelry. Check her out in the World's End Tavern!
* Nether Ray Fry (a non-combat pet) is now available from the Skyguard Quartermaster. This requires an Exalted reputation with Sha'tari Skyguard.
