SHAWNEE, KANSAS November 07, 2007 Video Games News

(PRLEAP.COM) Shawnee, Kansas, November 5, 2007 – Websitings LLC, Derek “Zuggy” Hales, author and founder of http://www.ZugGaming.com/ has recently revealed an alarming change for World of Warcraft casters.

Derek reveals a brand new game mechanic that is slated to be introduced with the release of patch 2.3. The change involves the various caster classes in the game, and how silence and interrupt effects will now be affected by diminishing returns.

“This is a gigantic step in the wrong direction” Derek exclaims, point out how it reduces the skill required to successfully player a healer or caster class in the game. He continues with his comments on why the mechanic was fine as is. “A universal nerf to interrupts isn’t what the game needed to be balance” Derek continues, it’s difficult to say how this change will affect the overall player base. Though it’s certainly to ripple through the ranks with the launch of patch 2.3.
