Wow.
So apparently, last week a man in his 20's named Lucas living in MA decided to take a drive - over 1,000 miles to meet a boy Wisconcin that he met in WoW.
They had been game friends for about a year when apparently 'recently' Lucas had asked the boy to send him nudy photo's and sent him threats if the boy didn't give back money Lucas claims to have spent on him in the game (not sure if this means in-game gold or actual cash). The boy in turn, put Lucas on /Ignore ingame.
He showed up at the boy's house supposedly impersonating a police officer, and pulled a gun on the mother, demanding to see the boy. He got a face full of front door in return.
After the incident, Lucas got back in his car and drove home. The boy's parents filed a complaint with the police and Lucas has been charged with 2nd degree reckless endangerment and impersonating an officer with some past history of felony weapon violations.
Moral of the story?? Some things are still better left secret. Don't go handing your address out to just anyone in WoW. lol. They might go crazy and come to your house looking for you. Yeash.
